Santa Rosa's Earth Day Festival 2014 will be held in Downtown Santa Rosa - Courthouse Square on Saturday from 12-4pm. The 5th Annual Earth Day Festival will be hosted by the City of Santa Rosa and Sonoma County Water Agency. There will be a specified area focusing on water-use efficiency. With 2013 being the driest year on record for California, the emphasis on water-use efficiency on Earth Day has heightened relevance. Free water-efficient fixtures like kitchen aerators, bathroom aerators, shower heads, etc will be distributed. There will be water saving demonstrations in addition to the opportunity to sign up for free workshops, home & business water-use surveys, and much more.
